Who is responsible

ByteBridge LLC operates afastchat and is responsible for the personal data described here. This policy covers afastchat.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

What we collect

• Account information from Google: when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your name and your Google account identifier. We use only the openid, email and profile scopes. We do not receive your Google password and do not access any other Google data, such as Gmail, Drive or Contacts.
• Chats: the messages you send, the assistant's responses and reasoning, web searches the assistant runs, the sources it cites, and chat titles.
• OpenRouter connection: when you connect OpenRouter, the API key it issues for your account, which we store encrypted.
• Usage: the model used and token counts for each response.
• Technical information: sign-in session records and service logs. Our hosting and security providers process connection information such as IP addresses, browser details and request times.

How we use Google user data

We use your Google email address, name and account identifier only to create your account, sign you in, and show you which account you are signed in with. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the service or comply with law, and do not use it to train AI models.

afastchat's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Why we use your data

We use data to sign you in, answer your questions, keep your chat history, show usage, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract for providing the service and legitimate interests for security and reliability. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

AI processing

To answer you, we send your messages and the earlier messages in the same chat to OpenRouter using your own OpenRouter account, which routes them to the AI model provider you select. When the assistant searches the web, your search queries are processed by OpenRouter's web search providers. OpenRouter and model providers handle this data under their own terms and privacy policies and your OpenRouter account settings.

We do not train AI models on your chats. Only submit personal or confidential information if you are comfortable sharing it with these services.

Who receives data

• Google: sign-in.
• OpenRouter and AI model providers: generating responses and running web searches.
• Hosting provider (Amazon Web Services): running the service and storing its database.
• Cloudflare: delivering the service and protecting it from abuse.

We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect people, enforce our terms or investigate abuse.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to secure the sign-in process. We use local storage to remember interface preferences, such as whether the sidebar is collapsed. We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and chats while your account exists. Deleting a chat removes its messages immediately. Disconnecting OpenRouter in Settings deletes the stored key.

You can delete your account in Settings. This immediately deletes your account, chats, usage records, OpenRouter key and sign-in session. You can also revoke afastchat's access from your Google account settings. For other requests, email [email protected].

International processing and security

Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. We use HTTPS, encrypt stored OpenRouter keys and restrict server access, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to [email protected]. afastchat is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date above when this policy changes and give notice of material changes through the service. Our terms of service explain the conditions for using afastchat.
